"She possesses a drive and determination that sets her apart from her competition."
- Charles B Sheldon, Editor of the Colorado Springs Business Journal.
Kathleen Conners began her employment career in the early 1990's recession when her hometown of Colorado Springs was dubbed "The Foreclosure Capital of the US" by the national media. Discovering jobs when unemployment peaked at 7.9 percent was her forte. She became a successful passionate detective hunting employment opportunities resulting in the consistent placement of job candidates.
In early 2002 months after tragic 9/11, she was overwhelmed by professionals contacting her for jobs. The PeopleHirePeople® seminar was created to assist candidates with three major job hunt problems.
• How to build a job-specific network. • How to discover job creators. • How to contact hiring managers directly.
PeopleHirePeople® seminars were hosted by University MBA Career Centers, Morgan Stanley, H&R Block Financial Services, Presidential Brokerage, Colorado Workforce Centers and professional associations.
Her current book, Network for a Job: The PeopleHirePeople® process to build a job-specific network is available in paperback and e-book formats at Amazon, major retailers and independent book stores as of March 2014. She is busy penning a second job hunt book about contacting hiring managers directly.
A Washington University graduate, Kathleen moved west with her husband to raise her family in Colorado Springs. She currently resides in Denver, Colorado and continues on a daily basis as a contingency recruiter hunting best candidates for client companies.
